Concealed Handgun/ License to Carry Instructors David Kappus & Ted Tarver
Instructors Ted Tarver, & David Kappus, are both US Navy Veterans who conduct the Texas DPS Certified Concealed Handgun and License to Carry classes and/or NRA Pistol course. Both are NRA Certified Range Safety Officers.
Ted is a Certified Texas School Safety Certification Instructor.
Ted is a former Naval Aviation Ordnance Weapons Specialist who attended the Navy’s first Fighter Weapons "Top Gun” School for the transition to the F-14 Tomcat.
David is a retired Navy SEAL who retired after 38 years of distinguished service with the elite Navy Special Operations Teams.
David served as the President of the UDT SEAL Association - Gulf Coast Chapter.
Both men serve on the Board of Directors for the Texas Team Foundation
Ted also serves on the Board of Directors of The Texas Handgun Association
Both are Nation Rifle Association Certified Pistol Instructors & NRA Range Safety Officers.
